Republican Party Approves James David Vance as Vice Presidential Nominee

According to the announcement at the convention, Vance is the only one who met the criteria for nomination, and Vance’s nomination for the November elections was supported by a majority of delegates at the Republican convention held in Milwaukee from July 15 to 18.

Then, US House Speaker Mike Johnson officially endorsed Vance as Trump’s vice presidential candidate.

Before that, the Republican Party chose former US President Donald Trump, who was the target of an assassination attempt a few days ago during his speech at an election rally in Pennsylvania, as the party’s official candidate to run in the upcoming US presidential elections.

Trump has announced that his running mate, if he wins the November election, will be Ohio Senator James David Vance.

“I have decided that the person most deserving of the office of Vice President of the United States is Senator J.D. Vance of the great state of Ohio,” Trump wrote on the Truth website.

“J.D. served our country honorably in the Marine Corps, graduated summa cum laude from Ohio State University in two years, and is a graduate of Yale Law School, where he was editor of the Yale Law Review and president of the Yale Veterans Association. J.D.’s book, Hillbilly Elegy, became a bestseller and a movie, as he championed the hardworking men and women of our country.”

“James David Vance has had a very successful career in technology and finance, and now, during the campaign, he will focus strongly on the people he has fought so hard for: American workers and farmers in Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin, Ohio, Minnesota, America and beyond,” Trump said.

The US presidential election is scheduled to take place on November 5.
