Marching in formation, 152 Indonesian soldiers will be joined by 190 musicians from the Military Academy’s band, adding an international flavour to the festivities. Leading the procession for the Army contingent will be Lt. Ahaan Kumar, commanding the 61 Cavalry, the only active Horsed Cavalry Regiment in the world. Raised in 1953, this elite unit boasts a rich legacy, representing a proud tradition. Following the mounted column,nine mechanized columns and nine marching contingents will demonstrate the Army’s strength and technological advancements.
Beyond traditional marching contingents, the parade will showcase a stunning array of cutting-edge military hardware.
