For security measures, the board of directors of the Claudio Corredor Müller State High School, located in the La Blanca sector of the city of El Vigía, Alberto Adriani municipality in the state of Mérida, have required students to use transparent bags or backpacks, according to a report group of parents and representatives of that educational institution.
A group of parents and representatives, who have requested to keep their names confidential for fear of reprisals against their children or clients, have approached this correspondent to request help from regional government entities, public or private organizations, in order to obtain the urgent donation of this type of bags for all the students of this institution, as well as mediation with the authorities of said educational unit to allow the use of traditional backpacks, until the request can be obtained.
“We do not deny the importance of the measure, but given the economic situation of the country, with the salaries that most parents receive, we can hardly buy the most important school supplies,” the parents say.
The Claudio Corredor Müller State High School, in a public institution, where a significant percentage of young children of workers study, who study with great sacrifices, especially financial, for the desire to get ahead and have a profession and stable life.
