According to Moroccan press reports, Al-Hussein Amouta, coach of the local team of Morocco, is close to taking over the responsibility of coaching the Moroccan Wydad team.
The Moroccan newspaper, “Al-Boula”, indicated that the management of the Moroccan club Wydad had reached a final agreement with Al-Hussein Amota, to lead the team, starting from next season, to succeed Walid Regraki.
The Moroccan club’s decision came following a reconciliation session between Said Nasiri, the club’s president, and Hussein Amouta.
The Moroccan newspaper said that it was decided that Amota would officially begin his duties following a week, pending the signing of official contracts.
The newspaper pointed out that Amota will lead Moroccan Wydad, but with his continuation “temporarily” with the local team of Morocco.
For its part, the Moroccan newspaper, “Al-Muktab”, confirmed that Amota will work with a new technical staff instead of the current crew, as he chose Mustafa Al-Khalfi to be his assistant, and he was the one who had chosen him as his assistant in the local team, then Hakim Doukkali as an alternative to Alaa Al-Maskini in training the guards. , while the name of the physical preparer was not revealed.
It is worth noting that Amota previously coached Wydad in 2017, and led the team towards winning the Moroccan championship and the African Champions League at the expense of Al-Ahly, and then participating in the Club World Cup.
