WrestleMania 34 saw a thrilling main event with Brock Lesnar defending his Worldwide Championship against Roman Reigns. but perhaps the most memorable moment came when ronda Rousey made her WWE debut, causing a stir by berating Triple H, Stephanie McMahon, and even pushing Dwayne “The Rock” back as he tried to intervene.

Rumors are swirling that New Orleans could be the host city for WrestleMania 42 in 2026.”Well, I’ll tell ya, Archyde, we’re always exploring exciting new venues for our biggest shows,” Handlebar revealed. “New Orleans is certainly one of the locations we’ve had our eye on. The city’s rich history, passionate fanbase, and stunning infrastructure make it a formidable candidate for future WrestleManias.”
New Orleans isn’t a stranger to WrestleMania, having successfully hosted the event in 2018.
“The Mercedes-Benz Superdome was a fantastic venue for WrestleMania 34,” Handlebar said. “The city’s hospitality, coupled with the dome’s notable capacity and infrastructure, left a great impression on us. We’re always thrilled to revisit locations that deliver remarkable experiences for our fans and performers alike.”
While no official announcements have been made, the strong buzz surrounding New Orleans suggests that the city could be a strong contender to welcome WrestleMania back in 2026.
Could Indianapolis Host WrestleMania?
Indianapolis might be in the running to host WrestleMania in 2027, according to industry insider Milton Handlebar. The city’s strong partnership with WWE and its successful hosting of events like the Royal Rumble and a two-night SummerSlam show in 2025 has put it on WWE’s radar.
“Indy’s on our radar, that’s without a doubt,” Handlebar stated. “They’ve got a fantastic partnership with the city, and events like the Royal Rumble and a two-night SummerSlam show in ’25 will give us a great possibility to assess their capabilities.
