Report from Lenny Kravitz’s concert in Krakow [ZDJĘCIA]

One of the best rockers of his generation visited Poland once again. And he managed to fill the TAURON Arena in Krakow to the brim. Today he will do it again in Łódź, where he will play his second concert on the Vistula. The multi-generational fun started a bit later, because the star appeared on stage with a slight delay. Fortunately, the student quarter was quickly forgiven.as soon as the first guitar sounds emerged from the speakers.

Lenny Kravitz is one of the few rockers who managed to successfully develop his career when the radio stations were slowly flooded with the wave of pop. Today, he has sold 40 million albums and a devoted group of fans around the world. Besides, in Poland they have a strong representation, and he knows it perfectly well. He was supposed to play here in 2020, but then due to the pandemic, the concert was canceled. Fortunately, four years later, he did not forget about his favorites and decided to come back.

It started off sentimentally right away, because the aforementioned guitar took us back to the 90s and the album “Are You Gonna Go My Way”. And so until the end we were jumping between different stages of the singer’s career. Because a moment later we had “Minister of Rock ‘n Roll” (2004) and “TK421” from his latest work.

We could hear tracks from “Blue Electric Light”, Kravitz’s still-fresh album, twice during the evening (“Paralyzed” and “Human”). Kravitz knows exactly how to heat things up slowlybecause with each subsequent song it got even better.

The singer did not forget about his greatest hits. Most people knew “The Chamber” by one note. The dancing crowd sang at the top of their lungs. And speaking of singing, I have to give all the credit to “I Belong To You”, which moved even the artist himself.

The biggest party started of course at the end, when Kravitz fired off hits like a cannon. By “Again” no one was sitting on the bench. Everybody had a good time. The Guess Who’s timeless cover of “American Woman” captivated even those who may not have been fully convinced yet. And “Fly Away” has already started an absolute frenzy in Krakow.

Lenny Kravitz is one of the most famous artists in the world and deserves all the laurels that have come his way. Because when an artist can be accused of playback singing, even though you know perfectly well that he is singing live, it means that he is simply phenomenal.

His voice sounded exactly as it had been polished in the studio. This is the best proof that the singer worked hard to learn how to work with his vocals. Because talent is one thing, but honing skills is another. He was so great that the slight mistakes he made could have been spotted by any amateur.

The breaks between songs were a bit incomprehensible. The occasional awkward silence caused the atmosphere of the event to slow down every now and then. Kravitz, on the other hand, tried to make contact with the audience at every possible opportunity. He even boasted that for the next five years he will be constantly playing concerts, releasing albums and collaborating with various musicians. He also promised that he would return to Poland.

Before we say goodbye to him, let’s meet him once again today – this time in Łódź, where history will repeat itself at the Atlas Arena.
