This weekend, a human tide flowed and ebbed peacefully between the bookish pebbles of 37^e Geneva Book Fair.

To believe that the books literally absorbed them. At the entrance of Palexpo, this Saturday afternoon at the end of the Show, while the line of entrants swelled from second to second, that of the starters zigzagged in dotted lines. Where were they engulfed, all these hungry readers, with their strollers, their scooters, their still light backpacks, their happy faces, their skipping steps? What vessel was able to hold their number? Would we therefore have at the end of the lake an under roof version of the Bermuda triangle?
