As per a report by Insider Gaming emerges, it was at Ubisoft reportedly planning to release a yet-to-be-officially announced remake of “Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag” in November 2025. As Tom Henderson explains in the report, the release will be postponed to February due to the current postponement of “Assassin’s Creed Shadows”. From Ubisoft All it says so far is that several remakes are in the works.

The fact that the delay of “Assassin’s Creed Shadows” will affect the roadmap is evident from an internal email from Vice President Executive Producer Marc-Alexis Côté to the action-adventure’s staff. According to Henderson, the multiplayer “Assassin’s Creed”, known under the working title “Assassin’s Creed Invictus”, is also scheduled for November 2025. There is no comment on whether there could be a delay here too.

Ultimately, the chain of postponements could also have an impact on the next main branch of the series, Codename “Hexe”, for which previous reports indicated a release in 2026. In recent days it has also been reported elsewhere that Ubisoft Should have 10 different “Assassin’s Creed” projects in the pipeline for the next five years.
