Since December 14, the “Digital Ethics in Health” Unit of the Ministry of Health and Prevention, with the help of the Digital Health Agency, has provided an online service to collect alerts on ethical problems encountered in the use of digital health tools.
Ethics at the heart of the digital shift in health
Since its creation, the Digital Health Delegation (DNS) has had an ethics unit. Its objective is to place ethics at the heart of the digital shift in health by providing practical awareness, evaluation and labeling tools for professionals, users, manufacturers and decision-makers. The challenge is to guarantee transparency in order to create trust, as a factor of support and promotion of the uses of digital health so that everyone can benefit from it.
Optimized digital health services and applications
Confidentiality and integrity of health data, security and transparency of their IT processing, respect for patient information, reduction of digital divides, but also digital sobriety and reduction of the environmental impact of health information systems: so many ethical principles that the government wishes to encourage in the development of digital health services and applications. And it is thanks to the contributions of users that this objective of improving these digital solutions used on a daily basis can be optimized.
How does reporting work?
All you have to do is answer a questionnaire which allows you, in a few minutes, to describe the bad experience you had. The questionnaire is completely anonymous. The responses and processing carried out following these reports will be regularly published and accessible from this page. Important clarification, the alert service does not concern technical anomalies and computer bugs which must be reported directly to the service provider.
