The increase will concern, out of warranty, all smartphones before iPhone 14. Instead of 75 € currently required to replace the battery of an iPhone X, 11, 12 or 13, so you will have to pay 99 €.
As to iPhone SE, 6,7 or 8the replacement price will increase from 55 € to 79 €.
iPad and MacBook also on the rise
The iPhone isn’t the only Apple product affected by this price hike. The replacement of iPad and MacBook batteries will also be charged more from March 1.
For a iPadthe bill will be higher by 40 €. She will pass from 109 € to 149 € for the following models:
– 12.9-inch iPad Pro (5th generation and earlier);
– 11-inch iPad Pro (3rd generation and earlier models);
– 10.5-inch iPad Pro;
– 9.7-inch iPad Pro;
– iPad mini (6th generation and earlier models);
– iPad Air (5th generation and earlier models).
On the side of MacBookreplacing a battery will cost from 36 € to 60 € more expensive than before:
– €36 for all models of MacBook Air. The price will go from €149 to €185
– 60 € for models MacBook et MacBook Pro. You will have to pay €289 instead of €229 current.
“Good news” however: this increase does not concern people who have subscribed to an AppleCare + contract, this service being already included in the offer.
