Each watch features a 46mm case and bezel, machined from a block of Fused Carbon Fiber. Made up of 130 layers of carbon sheets, this new model requires around fifty days to design and more than 60 manufacturing steps. To create the watch, each layer of carbon is rotated at a unique angle to increase the strength of the initial block. The block is then subjected to a combination of heat and pressure to align with the shape of the watch case. Several hours of machining using precise diamond cutting tools results in a remarkable surface featuring a beautiful spiral pattern unique to each watch, both robust and lightweight. Combining luxury and performance, the Marq Carbon collection is adorned with high-end straps, whether in perforated FKM leather, jacquard-woven nylon or high-end rubber. Each bracelet is meticulously designed to meet the specific needs of each user. Its 16-day battery life makes it the ideal companion for the most extreme adventures. Designed for all missions, the MARQ Commander – Carbon Edition features a discreet design and features dedicated to tactical operations. Intended for use day or night, the Marq Commander allows you to switch between modes on a screen that can be read with night vision goggles. Stealth mode disables GPS location recording and sharing, as well as wireless connections and communications, while still allowing use of the watch. Czapek presents a brand new iteration of the historic Quai des Bergues collection, now available in a 40.5 mm steel case, and with a brand new hand-guilloché pattern on the dial. One size never really fits all – With this in mind, Czapek is offering a version of the Quai des Bergues line in a new 40.5mm case. This steel case retains all the stylistic signatures of the initial collection – with a slight refinement of the recesses in the sides of the case in order to integrate the movement – and a subtle modification of the inclination of the lugs to ensure a perfect fit on the wrist . “The two existing sizes of the Quai des Bergues model (38.5 and 42.5 mm) have always been well received,” says Xavier de Roquemaurel, CEO of Czapek. The starting point for this new pattern was a discussion on Ricochet guilloche, exclusive to Maison Czapek. Through a process of iteration, which places greater emphasis on vertical symmetry and straighter, deeper cuts, the new ‘Double Soleil’ pattern presents a look that is both bold and contemporary.
