After more than 12 years in the game development team, Kitamura has confirmed that following leaving FromSoftware she will be working as a freelance artist, starting this month. “I want to express myself through video game music in a variety of genres. She will not be returning to compose music for the aforementioned games once more, and from now on we may be able to hear her new songs through other games soon.
