With the entry into service of the last two hybrid-electric buses, the complete renewal of the Linz AG Linien bus fleet has been completed following a good three years. On April 2nd, the entire fleet will be hybrid-electric – there are 88 vehicles in total. “After we have already converted our trolleybus fleet to 24-meter-long, ultra-modern, fully electric double-articulated buses, we are proud that the entire renewal of the bus fleet has now been completed,” says Linz AG board director Jutta Rinner.
Modern facilities
The buses have ergonomically high-quality leather seats, panoramic windows, LED ceiling lighting, WiFi and integrated USB ports in the seats. Current passenger information and messages are clearly visible on four double screens (two in the solo buses) with an info screen. In addition, the 100 percent low-floor technology ensures barrier-free use.
