PARIS (Archyde.com) – Renault has chosen BNP Paribas, Goldman Sachs and JPMorgan to manage the initial public offering of its electric vehicle unit, Ampère, a source familiar with the matter said on Thursday.
The three banks will run the operation as joint global coordinators, the source said.
Citigroup, HSBC, Morgan Stanley, Natixis and Societe Generale will act as joint bookrunners and Mediobanca will be the joint bookrunner, the source said.
Renault plans to list its electric business on the Paris Stock Exchange this year, depending on market conditions.
Sources said last November that the French automaker was considering valuing Ampère at 10 billion euros.
Renault declined to comment on the named banks or the role they would play in the deal. The named banks declined to comment.
