Singer Rena Rolska has died. The death was announced by the president of the Association of Polish Stage Artists, Krzysztof Szuster. The artist was 92 years old.

Rena Rolska was born in Warsaw in 1932. She made her stage debut in 1955 as a soloist of the Polish Radio Dance Orchestra during a concert as part of the radio program “Zgaduj zgadula”.
In 1961 she received a distinction at the International Song Festival in Sopot for her performance of the song “Piosenka prawda ci wiesz”.
She also received a distinction in the performers category during the 1st National Festival of Polish Song in Opole in 1963.
In the radio program “Afternoon Tea at the Microphone” she appeared as a student in the scenes “Rolska to the Blackboard”. In the 1970s she performed on the stage of the Syrena Theatre. She ended her stage career in 1981.
She was a two-time winner of the Golden Microphone award.
