The article said, “My father was diagnosed with severe prostate disease before he was imprisoned and was in urgent need of surgical treatment. Since being imprisoned, he has been unable to receive surgery and effective treatment, and his condition has continued to worsen.
“For a long time, he has needed to go to the bathroom more than a dozen times every night, suffering from pain and unable to rest normally. In recent months, he has been diagnosed with asthma, and his health has been deteriorating. We have begged many times, but we are still not allowed to operate. treatment, which leaves us deeply distressed and hopeless.”
“My brother was also implicated in my father’s case and was sentenced to nine years in prison. During the four years since my father was imprisoned, our family has never been truly reunited. The disease and the sentence have nearly broken up our family and nearly destroyed our family.”

Ren Zhiqiang, 73, is a well-known entrepreneur in China. He has successively served as chairman of Beijing Huayuan Real Estate, deputy secretary and chairman of the Party Committee of Huayuan Group, supervisor of Beijing Commercial Bank, director of Xinhua Insurance, and member of the Beijing CPPCC. Holds a master’s degree in law from the National People’s Congress of China. His father, Ren Quansheng, once served as deputy minister of the Ministry of Commerce of the Communist Party of China.
Ren Zhiqiang is known as “Ren Cannon” and has sharply criticized the authorities many times.

On April 7, Ren Zhiqiang was accused of “serious violations of discipline and law” and was investigated; on July 23, he was expelled from the party, had his benefits revoked, and was prosecuted; on September 22, he was sentenced to 18 years in prison, and was accused of corruption, bribery, and misappropriation of public funds. Ren Zhiqiang’s friend and entrepreneur Wang Ying later posted in WeChat Moments that the CCP’s treatment of Ren Zhiqiang was completely “political persecution.” Wang Ying said that Ren Zhiqiang had opinions against the party and its leaders, but the party did not allow him to have opinions. Ren refused to repent, so the party expelled him. “At this point, we people outside the party dare not say that there is something wrong.
