Remy, following Sambury, tightened limits on the sale of products in one hand

On Tuesday, March 15, Remi supermarkets reduced norm sales of some goods in one hand – following the Far Eastern network “Samberi”, which did this the day before. The decision was made due to speculative demand, in particular for sugar, transmits regional government.

Now in the supermarkets “Remy” and “Samberi” each customer can purchase:

– sugar – 2 kg;

– vegetable oil – 2 l;

– flour – 2 kg;

– salt – 2 kg;

– buckwheat – 2 kg;

– rice – 2 kg;

– pasta – 2 kg;

– saury “Gosrezerv” – 10 cans;

– mixtures for baby food – 3 cans;

– diapers – 5 packs.

“The decision taken by retail chains is not related to the shortage of goods, it is connected precisely with the limitation of speculative demand, which is recorded in retail chains. The Ministry of Industry and Trade supports this measure, since the main task of retail chains is to provide goods to the widest possible range of consumers. Establishing the rate of release of individual goods in one hand is a temporary measure. All restrictions will be lifted following demand returns to average volumes,” he said. Minister of Industry and Trade of Primorsky Krai Sergey Kalitin.

Recall that there is a rush demand in Vladivostok for granulated sugar. Demand has grown many times since the end of February, and the price has risen by 15 rubles. But the main problem with availability is stores. do not have time for the excitement. On March 4, Sambury already introduced a limit, but then removed it. Then sugar sold no more than 20 kg in one hand.

March 5 Ministry of Industry and Trade and Ministry of Agriculture allowed Russian retail chains, if necessary, to limit the volume of sales of socially significant goods to one hand.
