Cairo Governorate continues the demolition work in the Arab El-Hosn slum area, in order to expand the Khosous axis, which is implemented by the Engineering Authority of the Armed Forces.
In this context, Dr. Ibrahim Saber, Deputy Governor of Cairo for the Eastern Region, continued the work of removing conflicts in the Matareya neighborhood in the presence of the neighborhood chief to expand the Khosous axis.
Cairo Governorate has completed the removal of 98 properties in the slum area of Arab al-Hosn out of a total of 127 properties, with the continuation of compensation payments to those entitled.
This comes within the framework of the directives of Major General Khaled Abdel Aal, Governor of Cairo.
Cairo Governorate is implementing a set of demolitions in several areas within the capital in order to implement strategic projects or establish new traffic axes and arteries to improve the quality of life for its citizens and provide easy and modern means of transportation that are compatible with the environment and save time and fuel consumption for citizens.
