Health Canada warns of unapproved products to enhance sexual performance which may present serious health risks.
“Stop using these products and consult a health professional if you are concerned regarding your health,” Health Canada recommended in a press release.
Dozens of different products are affected by the federal agency’s recall, including the Black Panther #1, Super Panther 7K, Magnum Gold 24, Rhino 69 Platinum 35,000 and VIP Go Rhino 69K.

The latter might “contain ingredients that are not listed on the label”, or even “dangerous ingredients or a combination of ingredients” which should “only be available with a prescription from a health professional”, perhaps we read in the Health Canada press release.
The federal agency notes in particular the presence of sildenafil and tadalafil, two prescription drugs used to treat erectile dysfunction which should only be taken under the supervision of a health professional, but also of levodopa, a drug once morest Parkinson’s, and acetaminophen, which can cause liver damage in too large quantities.
The products in question were seized at various points of sale, including Varennes, Saint-Hubert, Lévis, Quebec, Laval, Gatineau, as well as in other provinces such as Ontario and Alberta.
“These products are labeled as containing hazardous ingredients or have been tested and found to contain them,” Health Canada said.
