“I am in shock like everyone else. It was rushed at breakneck speed,” she said on LCN.

Active and involved in several causes, Ms. Bombardier did not let anyone believe that she was experiencing health problems.

“She was a lover of culture and life. We found ourselves several times in film launches or book launches. She even came to play a Marie-Antoinette character in the film “Alice Tremblay”, directed by Denise Filiatrault.

Listen to Florence Lamoureux’s tribute on the career and work of Denise Bombardier at the microphone of Alexandre Dubé via QUB radio :

“I have known her for over 20 years. He was someone who was in the life of Denys Arcand [ndlr : le conjoint de Mme Robert] for a very, very long time, because they knew each other at university. They got to know each other a lot.”

Mrs. Robert will remember an epicurean woman who loved life “who loved to laugh a lot”.

“She was like a kid who liked to eat and drink good wine and then have fun with her friends. She was curious about absolutely everything and she had an opinion on everything too!” joked Ms. Robert.
