Family, his priority

Although he has handed over the torch, Octave will nonetheless remain the mentor of the team and his family, always taking the same pleasure in sharing a cup of coffee with the staff, in going to the construction sites almost daily.

A man of society, in love with his work, with a job well done, this business manager nevertheless placed at the top of his priorities a family that seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren have joined. He devoted hours and hours to them as a taximan, driving some to school, others to football training, which did not displease him in the least because as a former manager of the Dochamps club, he always followed the wanderings of the footballers of his descendants. And when the opportunity was given to him, with his friend Paul Jérouville, he took pleasure in attending a Standard meeting.
