Cincinnati (USA) – Former Magic and Celtics forward Brandon Hunter has died at the age of just 42.

As the New York Post reported the NBA star died on Tuesday. The cause of death was initially unknown.
“We are terribly saddened by the loss of our former teammate Brandon Hunter. Our deepest condolences go out to the entire family,” the Orlando Magic basketball team wrote in a statement.
Hunter celebrated his first successes in the second round of the 2003 NBA Draft, where he was selected by the Celtics.

The following summer we continued with the Charlotte Bobcats as part of the expansion draft.
In Orlando, Hunter averaged 3.1 points and 2.2 rebounds in 31 games during the 2004-2005 season.
The American was already considered a star during his four years at Ohio University. After his two successful seasons in the NBA, Hunter continued his basketball career abroad in places like Greece, Italy, Puerto Rico and Turkey.
After ending his playing career in 2013, Hunter returned to his hometown of Cincinnati. There he founded a real estate and sports management company.
