We learned Monday the death of Faye Fantarrow at only 21 years old. The British singer succumbed to an aggressive and rare brain tumor which she had been battling for months. When she was younger, she had already had to fight two leukaemias. It was his mother who shared the terrible news with fans via a post on X (ex-Twitter).
Discovered in 2019 by the section of the BBC responsible for spotting promising new talent, the young woman released her first EP this year. Dave Stewart of Eurythmics signed him to his label, Bay Street Records. He expressed his great sadness at the announcement of the disappearance of Faye Fantarrow. “Words fail me to express how devastated I was when, just after spending amazing creative time with Faye last summer making her debut album, Faye was told she had a brain tumor. very aggressive,” reads a statement he issued.
