The journalist, lawyer, constituent of 1999 and trade union leader Alberto Jordan Hernandezdied this Wednesday, August 23 in the state of Aragua.

Jordán Hernández is remembered for his support for union activity within the National College of Journalists and the struggles of press workers throughout his distinguished career.

He was an opinion columnist for various newspapers in Venezuela and later for digital portals due to the disappearance of the print media due to the restrictions imposed by the government of Nicolás Maduro for the acquisition of newsprint since 2014.
