Alan Wake 2 still scheduled for 2023!

Unveiled a few months ago, the continuation of the adventures of Alan Wake was announced for the year 2023. And according to CEO Tero Virtala, everything suggests that the exit window will be maintained.

Alan Wake 2 is in the full production phase. A lot of work remains, but the game is starting to take shape in many areas. As previously communicated, Alan Wake 2 will be released in 2023.

But the studio does not stop there, with many projects in progress. First, a game with the code name Vanguard which will be a cooperative free-to-play and this one will be co-published by Tencent. If it is only at the proof of concept phase, the work is progressing well.

Two projects around Control

Released in 2019, Control has established itself among many players. Good news for them, two projects are in progress drawn from the universe of this one, with the code names of:

  • Condor : this one will be a spin-off of the main title, currently in the proof of concept phase
  • Heron : this project is being prototyped and will be a “Greatest Game Control”

Remedy also has the development of the remake of Max Payne et Max Payne 2 : The Fall of Max Payne, in partnership with Rockstar Games as announced in April. This one was only in the concept phase last month though, so it’s going to be a long wait before it’s released.
