The royal vault of the chapel of St. George, in Windsor Castle, received the remains of Queen Elizabeth II, reported the official account of the Royal Family.
The religious ceremony was concluded and later the imperial crown was withdrawn, they added.
The funeral ceremony was attended by members of the British royalty and other royal houses.
The coffin entered the crypt, in which the music of a Scottish piper sounded.
Later, a new religious service but of a private nature, reserved for the British royal family, will say goodbye to Elizabeth II, who died at Balmoral Castle (Scotland) on the 8th at the age of 96.
The remains of Elizabeth II will be interred next to the tomb of her husband, the Duke of Edinburgh, in the royal crypt at Windsor.
The Instruments of State; the Imperial State Crown and the Orb and Sceptre have remained with Her Majesty’s coffin.
