The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) reported that Indonesia’s economic growth was 5.05% on an annual basis (yoy) in the second quarter of 2024. When compared with the first quarter of 2024, or quarterly (qtq) it grew by 3.79%. One of the components contributing to economic growth is household consumption, which is 54.53%.
The current improvement in economic growth conditions has encouraged PT Yili Indonesia Dairy (YILI) as a Joyday ice cream producer to carry out new business innovations to reach Indonesian consumers more widely, namely through the Joyday Hawker program.
President Director of PT YILI Yu Miao said, Joyday Hawker is a new business strategy implemented by YILI to establish direct relationships with consumers, and make it easier for consumers to get Joyday ice cream products without having to leave the house.
“Presence hawker helps consumers to enjoy Joyday ice cream more easily without having to leave the house. “Of course, this is one of the interesting points that we offer to consumers,” said Yu, quoted from the statement received on Thursday (3/10).
Currently Joyday already has more than 1,500 hawker spread throughout Indonesia.
“We also cooperate with more than 700 depots that help us in preparing products that will be marketed by hawker. “With this strategy, Joyday ice cream sales were able to increase by around 3% and we hope that this achievement can continue to increase in the future,” explained Yu. (E-2)
