Relocation stress in the Red Cross Perg

2023-10-20 12:50:01

As reported, the Red Cross in Perg has reorganized itself organizationally and, above all, structurally in the last few days. With the relocation of the district office from the operations center in Dirnbergerstrasse to the former farmers’ chamber building at Fadingerstrasse 13, the organization operates three locations in the district capital : The district office, i.e. the administrative unit, on Fadingersrstrasse, the operations center with rescue service and emergency vehicle on Dirnbergerstrasse and the Rotkreuz market on Naarner Strasse. “Through this strategic division into the three areas of Red Cross district office, Red Cross operations center and Red Cross market, we are well positioned for the future,” says district manager Christian Geirhofer.

After two strenuous weeks of relocation, the employees of the district office already feel at home in their new place of work. From Monday to Friday, employees for all business areas and divisions are available to provide advice and support. The social counseling center on behalf of the social welfare association has also relocated. A modern seminar room is available for day courses. “We are pleased to be there as a social service platform for the population,” invites Geirhofer to view the new district office as a meeting place.

From the Dirnbergerstrasse operations center, the emergency vehicles drive around the clock for the population to go to their operations, transports and visits. There is no service or contact point here, especially when all emergency services are on the move.
