Disney Illusion Island is a 2D platform game for the youngest, who can embody Mickey, Minnie, Goofy and Donald Duck, in local cooperation for up to four players. Disney Illusion Island will be released in 2023 exclusively on Nintendo Switch.

On the occasion of D23, a conference presenting all the upcoming Disney projects for 2023, the release of a video game in the universe of Mickey was announced. Developed by Dlala Studios, Disney Illusion Island will be released in 2023 exclusively on Nintendo Switch.

In this 2D platform game, you can play as Mickey, Minnie, Goofy or Donald Duck to explore the land of Monoth with the aim of recovering the three books of knowledge, essential to save the world from a mysterious threat. The choice of character will only be cosmetic, since our four protagonists all have the same skills to progress through the levels.

The game will never ask you to fight the enemies that will face you, but simply to avoid them through different movements. Moreover, throughout the adventure, you will learn different techniques, which will allow you to access previously inaccessible areas. You will therefore have to retrace your steps to discover what is hidden there, which therefore adds a metroidvania dimension to the game and therefore a little more depth.

The adventure is entirely playable in local cooperation, up to four players. Different levels of difficulty are available, so that the game remains accessible to everyone. A mode even allows you to play with an unlimited number of lives, so as not to frustrate the little ones.

In all the different biomes that you will have to go through, it will be possible to collect objects, and in particular souvenirs that will immerse you even more in the universe of Disney and all its characters.
