Only a few more days until the release of Elden Ring. The latest game from From Software studios is expected like the messiah, a major release that should make a lot of noise in the gaming world.

This project, straight from the From Software studios, is becoming more and more the most anticipated release of the year every day. A status that he has already won at the Game Awards 2021 and which confirms the fact that this month of February will be one of the busiest of the year in terms of video games. Indeed, Elden Ring is the product of close collaboration between the teams of the revered Hidetaka Miyazaki (Demon Souls, Dark Souls, Sekiro and Bloodborne) and George RR Martin, the author behind the Game of Thrones novels. A duo of titans who knew how to fan the flame of lust and excitement among players. Add to that that Elden Ring adopts the popular open-world RPG formula, and you have THE winning draw, which will take place on Friday of course.
Elden Ring also received an official release date, but unfortunately it was pushed back a month. You will have to wait for the February 25, 2022 at midnight before you can get your hands on the long-awaited RPG on all platforms. A decision that the From Software teams justified in the tweet below. Seasoned veterans, lovers of challenges, or intrepid neophytes can on this date embark on the Underworld, and try to defeat the descendants of Marika in order to reunite the fragments of the circle of Elden. An adventure on a path that promises to be winding and very perilous. Good news, Bandai Namco has also chosen to release Elden Ring on older generation consoles. It will therefore come out on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S et PC thus not making anyone jealous.
It’s hard not to recognize the special touch of Hidetaka Miyazaki (no relation to Hayao Miyazaki, the founder of Ghibli studios) during these three minutes. A universe as dark as it is mysterious, an enigmatic scenario, characters and monsters with so… varied attractions. This is the work of the Japanese director, behind Demon’s Souls, Dark Souls, Bloodborne and Sekiro. And this time, he was able to count on a collaboration with none other than George RR Martin, the author behind the Game of Thrones saga, to provide us with this unique experience. It will be an open world game that the player can browse at will while performing side quests and following the main plot. The game also includes multiplayer aspects, up to four players.
As for its story, Elden Ring takes place in a whole new universe, from the imagination of none other than George R.R. Martin. Recently interviewed by the American newspaper WWTW, the author of Game of Throne confirmed his involvement in the project throughout its many years of development. He claimed to have shaped the Elden Ring universe in great detail to provide developers with a solid foundation for their game development. Given the complexity and uniqueness of the universes George RR Martin is able to create, one can expect high-flying storytelling. If we add that to the inventiveness and the graphic quality to which the From Software teams have accustomed us, Elden Ring might very quickly earn its place alongside the excellent Bloodborne, Demon’s Souls or Sekiro. Moreover, George RR Martin himself claimed to be impatient to discover the game. The story of Elden Ring is this:
“The Golden Order has been shattered. Arise, Shinless, and may grace guide your steps. Harness the power of the Circle of Elden. Become Lord of the Underworld. land where Queen Marika the Eternal reigns, the Circle of Elden, vital source of the World Tree, was shattered Marika’s descendants, all demigods, claimed the shards of the Circle of Elden, also called major runes. Thus began the Shattering, a war emanating from the madness provoked by their newly acquired power. A war that sounded the renunciation of the Supreme Will. Thus will come the hour of the Shatterless, they who once refused the golden grace, and who were exiled from Underland. As you will have understood, there is something to look forward to in February. Elden Ring promises to be an extraordinary adventure, in addition to ensuring the quality of a From Software game. Only, an open world of this graphic fidelity, it requires a rather sturdy configuration. Luckily, Bandai Namco has released recommended and minimum specs on PC, so all keyboard and mouse enthusiasts can get an idea of what their setup can do once morest Elden Ring. And we can say that there is something to be surprised regarding, the minimum configuration is quite low, while the recommended configuration is more than affordable.
