Relatives of the minor murdered in Cáchira state that Bucaramanga Legal Medicine has not yet handed over the body

An uncle of the 16-year-old girl is in Bucaramanga carrying out the proceedings in the Prosecutor’s Office and the Institute of Legal Medicine.

Yesterday Q’hubo went to the Forensic Medicine facilities, although the relative did not feel in a position to give statements, he said that they expected to receive the body in the followingnoon to watch it at a funeral home in Romero Park.

But according to what they stated, Legal Medicine told them that the delivery of the body would not be possible until the field investigations are carried out in the place where the crime occurred, in the village of Los Alpes, in the municipality of Cáchira-Norte de Santander.

«We do not understand what relationship it has if the tests here from Medicine are from the girl’s body. It has been very hard for us and now this delay in handing over the girl’s body. They have not explained to us well what is the point of expecting them to do the studies there, ”said an uncle of the victim.

This newspaper tried to communicate with Legal Medicine but received no response.
