In the Chelyabinsk region, in the village of Shipkino, Oktyabrsky district, a 68-year-old man, who is a relative of a former employee of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, fired a gun at children and wounded a dog. The man pointed the gun at a 19-year-old and 13-year-old girl, the mother of one of the victims reported.

“The girls were sitting in the gazebo by Lake Shipkino on 8 Marta Street in the evening, listening to music. The dog was tied to a tree nearby. At about half past seven in the evening they heard a shot,” a resident of the village said, according to the publication “74 ru”.

The man fired first, then said it was salt. However, he returned three minutes later and pointed the gun at the children. The girls then began to cover each other, then heard a shot and one felt something brush against her hair, the mother of one of the girls said.

The woman immediately contacted the police. At the same time, she is worried that the case may be hushed up, since the shooter is the brother of a former police colonel. The fact of the incident was confirmed by the regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

“The materials have been collected. They have been transferred to the Investigative Committee. The attacker is a distant relative of a former Interior Ministry employee. He is a civilian.”

According to the woman, the children got off with a fright, but the dog was unlucky. It had a damaged eye, a paw, and a pellet mark on its muzzle. According to the veterinarian’s report, the dog had a mark from a combat weapon.
