Maksym Nakonechnyi, Ukrainian director, noticed during his visit to the Cannes festival, comes to present in Rennes at the Arvor cinema, Butterfly Vision. His first film tells the story of the return to life of Lilia, a soldier, an aerial reconnaissance specialist, captured and raped by the pro-Russian militias of Donbass, released following an exchange of prisoners, and who returns to her family in Ukraine. The trauma of captivity torments her and resurfaces in visions. Something deep within her keeps her from forgetting, but she refuses to see herself as a victim and fights to free herself.
Sunday October 9, at 6 p.m., at the Arvor, screening in the presence of director Maksym Nakonechnyi and in partnership with the association Solidarité Bretagne-Ukraine!
