“Rehabilitation of the Center for the Development for the Well-being of the Tacoaleche Community in Guadalupe, Zacatecas”

Zacatecas, Zac.- To strengthen the social well-being of Guadeloupe families through the dignification of public spaces, the Municipal President of Guadalupe, Zacatecas, José Saldívar Alcalde, led the inauguration of the work corresponding to the rehabilitation of the Center for the Development for the Well-being of the Tacoaleche community.

It is a property in which demolition, waterproofing, vinyl painting on interior and exterior walls and ceilings, replacement of wooden floors, replacement of light fixtures, painting in children’s games and general maintenance of toilets were carried out; all with an invested amount of more than 1 million pesos.

Sergio Casas Valadez, Secretary of Social Development and representative in this event of the Governor of the State, David Monreal Ávila, recognized the work of the Municipal President José Saldívar Alcalde and his work team by mentioning that “today the efforts that translate in dignified spaces like this one”.

He added that “today the population of Tacoaleche has a meeting point where they will develop skills and knowledge; and above all this space for recreation allows the promotion of culture, sports and coexistence to generate better living conditions, but above all to train our boys and girls as good human beings”.

Meanwhile, José Saldívar Mayor highlighted in his message the commitment that exists from the Guadalupe City Council to contribute to public policies that result in the promotion of recreational activities and the dignification of public spaces, mentioning that “this Center will allow the physical, mental and health development for the families of Tacoaleche and the entire region”.

In the same way, the Municipal President described this place as a space for integral development, since he highlighted that in this property, together with the artistic, cultural, sports and health activities that are offered; there is a Computer Center, which was achieved thanks to joint work with the migrant community and a community dining room service is also provided for the benefit -mainly- of people with disabilities, the elderly, low-income students and the population in general that requests the service.

“This type of works might not be carried out if we did not have the support of the State Government and it is necessary to emphasize that actions like these will transcend and give a better quality of life to the families of the community,” said Saldívar Mayor.

With actions of this type, the Guadalupe City Council endorses its commitment to strengthen public policies that increase the quality of life of the inhabitants, to make Guadalupe a city of good and progress.

After the formal inauguration act, the Municipal President José Saldívar Mayor and the Secretary of Social Development, Sergio Casas Valadez, toured the facilities of the Development Center for Well-being accompanied by local deputies Roxana Muñoz González and Violeta Cerrillo Ortiz; as well as Diana Galaviz Tinajero, Secretary of Social Welfare of the Municipality of Guadalupe; Celia Tijerín, Delegate of the Community of Tacoaleche and Councilors Margarita Ramos, Yoltik Díaz, Aarón Basurto, Karla Tena, María Elena Márquez and Jenifer Alvarado.
