Asunción, IP Agency.- Through the repair and rehabilitation work carried out by the Ministry of Public Works and Communications (MOPC), in five districts of the department of San Pedro, more than 4,000 inhabitants recovered the passability of their unpaved road network.
One of the cities where the interventions took place is Gral. Elizardo Aquino. There, the roads that connect the Mbareté neighborhood and the town of San Ramón were profiled with the Jhugua Rey company, benefiting 530 people.
In San Estanislao, for its part, 4 sections were repaired: first, 2 km of the route that connects Republicano Street with the PY08 route, as well as 500 meters of 12,000 Street plus the section that connects the Javiercue company with the San neighborhood. José Obrero.
In that same area, the passability of the Costa Pucu- Colorado street company section was improved, bringing a total of more than 3,200 Santana residents to reconnect with the road network.
At the same time, in the Yataity del Norte district, around 100 people can once once more travel along the route that connects the Itacuatia company with the María Auxiliadora area; while in the municipality of San Vicente Pancholo it is estimated that the repairs reached 400 people who travel along San Francisco Street and 6 de Enero Street towards the Camba Rembé settlement.
On the other hand, another 350 compatriots who live in the city of Choré will once once more use the road that serves them to reach the towns of San Luis and Careaga Cue, thanks to the platform restoration and patching tasks carried out by the MOPC.
Finally, in the city of Capiibary, road crews repaired and recovered 3 km of 20 de Julio Street and 3 km more of 26 Febrero Street, allowing more than 400 people to use these connections once more.
