Asuncion, IP Agency.- In the first week of August, technical work will begin on data collection for the massive titling of around 2,000 plots of land in Campo Aceval, in the department of Presidente Hayes, Paraguayan Chaco.
This was announced at a public hearing held by the president of the National Institute for Rural and Land Development, Francisco Ruiz Diaz, accompanied by the manager of SIRT-BPM, Humberto González, and a technical team from the institution.
The local mayor, Alberto Pereira, stressed that the entire population is very happy regarding the prompt regularization of the lands in the area, as well as the more than 200 people who participated in the hearing.
Several residents highlighted the president’s presence, because they were never heard by the highest authority of the institution in other administrations.
Aceval Field
Campo Aceval is known for its importance during the Chaco War (1932-1935), which is why it is called “The capital of the Fortines”. This municipality was established on June 17, 2020, following separating from Teniente Irala Fernández. Since 1977, the region has been a center for milk-producing colonies.
The municipality comprises several administrative areas, including Campo Aceval Sub-Urbano, Cristo Rey, Fátima, Rancho Ocho and Fortín Gondra. These areas are recognized for their agricultural and livestock activities as well as for their historical value.
The distance between Campo Aceval and Asunción is approximately 552 km, with Route D090, known as the “Milk Route”, being the main access route. It is located on two Indert estates totalling 20,000 hectares.
