Its historic name disappeared ten days ago. Founded in Rennes twenty-two years ago, Regionsjob has endorsed the disappearance of its eleven websites to focus on a single platform called HelloWork. The transition had already been initiated in 2018 when the structure changed its name. For four years, HelloWork had decided to keep its regional websites such as Ouestjob, Parisjob or Pacajob but also its Cadreo and Regionsjob Interim platforms. It is now over. “What are waiting for candidates or recruiters, it is exhaustiveness, responsiveness. They want a place where they can find everything. We must stop sending candidates on an incomprehensible journey,” explains François Leverger.
Behind the words of the general manager of HelloWork, we can also guess that the increased competition in which his company operates was no longer compatible with the myriad of sites offered by Regionsjob. “Having several brands plays on notoriety. We might not capitalize vis-à-vis our competitors, especially those who are Americans, ”recognizes David Beaurepaire, managing director of the company.
These famous Americans are known worldwide as Indeed and Monster. But in France, no one is doing better than HelloWork, which has experienced constant growth since its creation in Rennes in 2000. Last year, the group posted growth of 40% “not at all planned” and continues its dynamic +30% in the 1st quarter of 2022. An explosion which will force it to recruit more than 150 new employees this year in its offices in Paris but also in Rennes where its head office is still located. More than 250 people work in the Breton capital, and 120 in the Paris offices. In total, the company has approximately 430 employees spread over its various sites.
Forced to abandon their regional sites to gain notoriety, the leaders refute any idea of abandoning their regional presence. “We always have teams closest to the recruiters. But we have to adapt our content. The regional approach that corresponded to our beginnings no longer corresponded to the needs of the current market”, answers François Leverger. According to the leaders, more than 4,000 people find a job every day thanks to HelloWork, which currently offers more than 500,000 offers. A long way has been covered since the creation of the site by three partners who distributed flyers at the Lices market to make themselves known.
