It was in the presence of residents, members of the board of directors and several elected municipal officials that the president of the Gontier residence in Monteux, Gérard Gibert, recently paid tribute to Chantal Sagnes, who “claims his pension rights” at the beginning of July 2023. Gérard Gibert wished him a “long and peaceful retirement“, following she had completed a 40-year career at the residence of which she was director.
The president then presented his replacement, Isabelle Petitot, who is from the Nîmes region. She trained in psychology in Montpellier, and worked in several structures, including as a volunteer, oriented towards young people, or less young people, in difficulty. Being the last of a family of six children, she had to take care of her elderly parents, and in particular her mother who instilled in her “a great sense of helping others“, she testifies. For the past 6 years, Isabelle Petitot has been in charge of the Eyragues autonomy residence.
The president assured her of his full support in her new role, and said he was counting on her help to adapt to ever more demanding directives, while maintaining “well-being and friendliness” which are the motto of the residence.
