The project has been in the works since September 2020, and a new stone has just been added to the building. Present this Friday morning at the Edmond-Garcin hospital in Aubagne, President Martine Vassal announced that the Metropolis and the Department would contribute respectively 10 million euros and 6 million euros for the construction of a new hospital by 2030 on the Gargues site, located in the Paluds area.
At the end of 2021, presenting its “Ségur en Paca regional investment strategy”, the Ministry of Health at the time announced that it would release an envelope of 92 million for this same project.
The total budget announced, excluding the purchase of land and everything relating to the equipment of the health establishment, is estimated at the sum of 130 million euros.
