Regina and Godoy enabled the registration of foreigners

For the municipal level elections on April 16, the Regina and Godoy municipalities summoned resident foreigners to register for their inclusion in the registerat the same time that the period of consultations for the correction of errors is also enabled.

The two municipalities adhered to the first electoral shift that the province called for April 16 to elect governor and vice, legislators by circuit and sheet; and in the case of both Villa Regina and General Enrique Godoy, each locality will elect a mayor, titular and substitute councilors and members of the Court of Accounts.

For its part, the Regina Municipal Electoral Tribunal summoned resident foreigners to register on the electoral roll. The same is done in the Court offices, located on the first floor of the municipal building at Rivadavia 220, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m..

Those interested in registering must meet the following requirements: have turned 16 years old, have been an immediate and uninterrupted resident of the municipal community for 3 years, a certified photocopy of the identity document and documentation certifying your residence”, they detailed.

In turn, the Municipal Electoral Board of General Enrique Godoy reported that “in compliance with the provisions of article 34 of Law O 2431, The period for the exhibition of Provisional Registers of Foreign Voters is in force, extending until February 28, 2023, including the registration or ratification of permanence in the same”.

They specified that the members of the Electoral Board “will deal with claims and/or registrations, on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., in the Meeting Room of the Deliberative Council local”.
