The public prosecutor’s office in Dortmund has filed charges for the police shots in the northern part of the city in August 2022. At that time, a mentally ill refugee (16) was killed by bullets from an officer’s submachine gun.
According to the public prosecutor’s office, there was a fatal misjudgment in the illegal use.
