PUBLIC highlighted the discovery of fraudulent prospective participants in the selection of Kompolnas members some time ago. It was asked that this incident not be repeated in the selection process for leadership candidates (capim) of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK).
Former Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) investigator Yudi Purnomo Harahap asked the selection committee (pansel) for the KPK chief to carefully examine all participant data. If anyone is caught cheating, the judges are asked to disqualify the participant.
“I believe the panel will strike out (fraudulent candidates) without hesitation,” said Yudi to Medcom.id, Thursday, September 26 2024.
Yudi said cheating was not something that could be normalized in the selection process for KPK leaders. That, he said, was proof that the participants lacked integrity.
“Because it is fatal, the act lacks integrity,” said Yudi.

Fraud in the selection process is considered the same as being entrusted to capim. Until now, Yudi is confident that the panel members will stop dirty games in the search for the KPK commissioner.
“I think the pattern is in the hands of the panel. “The Corruption Eradication Committee (KPK) committee has actually become very good at anticipating participant fraud,” said Yudi.
It is considered that this fraud can be prevented by referring to the background of the panel members. If it can still pass, the future of the KPK is considered dangerous.
“In fact, this (fraud) will not be carried out by the capims, what is actually worrying (at the Corruption Eradication Commission) is that the selection committee will choose a capim entrusted to them and it will be problematic,” said Yudi. (Can/M-4)
