Brain Dead and Reebok present the result of another collaboration: The Reebok x Brain Dead Club C.
After the Pump Court, the Beatnik, the Classic Leather and the Zinetica II models, this is the 4th collab of the two brands. The Club C is a Reebok classic that became popular on the tennis court in the 1980s.
According to the Reebok archive, the shoe was designed under the direction of Paul Brown in 1985 and was originally “intended for the club player,
who needs a durable performance tennis shoe”.
Thousands of copies were pre-ordered before the shoe even launched.
Today, it’s still one of Reebok’s most popular and revived styles.
The Brain Dead team has edited the classic theme to fit into the “Brain Dead ecosystem”.
They’ve redesigned the silhouette with a playful texture, the shoes have a hairy suede upper with special neon effects and Brain Dead fuzzy laces.
This makes the simple design so soft and imperfect that it feels alive.
Inspired by nature, the followinglife and everything else out there.
The global release is on August 12th. Keep ours too Sneaker release calendar in the eye.
