The Ministry of Health and Population has warned of some health behaviors that may cause the risk of breast cancer.

The Ministry, through its official page on the social networking site Facebook, reaffirmed the need for early detection of breast cancer, follow-up and treatment with the latest international protocols for free, as part of the President’s initiative to support women’s health.

The Ministry announced the appointments of health units that provide early detection of breast cancer, follow-up and treatment, that they are available daily, except for Friday, from 9 am to 3 pm.

The Ministry of Health has identified some behaviors that reduce the risk of breast cancer, as follows:

First: prolonged breastfeeding

Second: regular physical activity

Third: weight control

Fourth: Avoid exposure to tobacco smoke

Fifth: Avoid using hormones for a prolonged period and avoid excessive exposure to radiation.
