2023-10-28 05:00:00

Prevention is key to reducing stroke risk factors. Poor diet, smoking, alcohol consumption, lack of regular physical activity: all behaviors that increase the risks of high blood pressure, obesity and even diabetes. Health problems that increase the risk of stroke.

To inform the general public on this subject, the Haute-Saône Hospital Group (GH 70) decided to set up prevention stands on the occasion of World Stroke Day, in the hall of the site. Vesoul this Monday, October 30, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Focus on post-stroke follow-up

On site, the general public will be able to find hospital staff such as nurses, including one who specializes in post-stroke follow-up, nursing assistants, as well as the health manager of the neurology department. The objective is to provide information on risk prevention, on the recognition of the signs of stroke, but also on post-stroke follow-up which requires special care.

Several partners will also host prevention stands, such as the Territorial Professional Health Community (CPTS) of the Vésulien basin with the presence of an adapted physical activity teacher, or with the France AVC association, as well as the French Federation of cardiology of Franche-Comté. Prevention will also be fun, with the presence of the CPAM and its wheel of health, which will talk regarding cardiovascular risks and which will also be accompanied by the Heart and Health association of Vesoul.
