Reduce Backlog Figures, Bank DKI and PT SMF Establish Partnership to Maximize FLPP Distribution

BANK DKI and PT Sarana Multigriya Finansial (SMF) have established a bipartite cooperation to utilize a portion of the matching funds of 25% of housing financing through the Housing Financing Liquidity Facility Program (FLPP). This cooperation was directly signed by the Director of Retail & Sharia of Bank DKI, Henky Oktavianus, and the Director of Securitization and Financing of PT SMF, Heliantopo, in Jakarta on Monday (23/9).

Retail & Sharia Director of Bank DKI, Henky Oktavianus, said that through this collaboration, Bank DKI will utilize financing for the 25% portion of matching funds provided by PT SMF to strengthen long-term funding, where 75% of the FLPP financing has been provided by BP Tapera.

“This is expected to expand public access to decent and affordable housing,” said Henky, quoted from a statement received on Tuesday (24/9).

FLPP is an Indonesian government program that aims to provide access to affordable housing financing for low-income communities (MBR). Through FLPP, the government provides interest subsidies and funding facilities that make it easier for people to get decent homes with lighter installments.

Henky emphasized that this program involves various institutions, including banks and financial institutions, to increase financing capacity and it is hoped that more people will be able to have decent and affordable housing.

“This partnership is a strategic step in contributing to expanding inclusive financial access, especially in terms of providing opportunities for the community to own homes. By utilizing the matching funds, Bank DKI is optimistic that it can increase financing capacity and provide better housing financing solutions,” Henky hoped.

Furthermore, he emphasized that this collaboration is also Bank DKI’s commitment to supporting the government’s program to reduce the number of… backlog or the need for housing through the Housing Financing Liquidity Facility (FLPP) subsidy program, with Bank DKI’s role in providing easy access to housing financing products to low-income communities (MBR) and the general public.

Meanwhile, Bank DKI Corporate Secretary, Arie Rinaldi, added that apart from building a joint partnership scheme stakeholder in the field of housing financing.

“Bank DKI continues to strive to expand access to housing financing, including simplifying the mortgage process by optimizing the analysis process to speed up the approval process, as well as ensuring that product and service information is available clearly and completely,” concluded Arie. (J-3)
