In a post shared on its social networks, Redmi confirmed that its next smartphone with Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 should just be called Redmi Turbo 3.
In other words, the device will no longer be part of the Note line to form a new series within the Chinese manufacturer’s catalog. As a result, this new “Turbo” family will be positioned between the Note and the K.
The K line will be Redmi’s “top of the line” and the Turbo series’ mission is to fill the gap and make the transition between the Note and K lines.
See below that the name of the device lost the term “Note”.
In terms of specifications, the Redmi Turbo 3 should stand out for delivering a series of specifications worthy of a premium intermediary.
The screen will be a 6.67-inch OLED, which offers 1.5K resolution and support for 120 Hz, as well as an integrated fingerprint reader.
In connectivity, we should expect the presence of a 5G connection, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3 and NFC. The battery will have 5,000 mAh capacity, supporting 90W fast charging.
In the rear camera module, the Redmi Turbo 3 must have a 50 MP main sensor, an 8 MP ultrawide sensor and a 2 MP macro sensor.
Completing the set is Android 14 running under the HyperOS 1.0 interface, with the launch of the Redmi Turbo 3 taking place this April.
