The Redmi Note 13 recently arrived on the national market in two versions and we have the most basic one with 4G for a complete analysis. Is it still worth investing in a cell phone without 5G?
The design has evolved and we have a more minimalist look at the rear without that protruding camera block. There are still two prominent cameras surrounded by a chrome rim. A smaller one is aligned with the flash on the right. The front has fewer edges and the side finish is still made of good quality matte plastic.
The screen has the same size and resolution as before, but it has a more advanced panel that achieves higher brightness and reproduces great colors with native calibration that is very close to ideal. The sound, now stereo, guarantees greater immersion, but could be a little more powerful and have a better balance between bass, mids and treble.
It comes equipped with Snapdragon 685, a chipset already seen before. The national version has 8 GB of RAM, but the one we tested is the most basic with 6 GB, which did not impress in our speed test and reloaded some apps in the background. At least it was more agile than its predecessor.
The 5,000 mAh battery performed very well in our test with 30 hours of autonomy in moderate use. The Redmi Note 13 comes with the traditional 33W charger in the box, which takes 1 hour and 15 minutes to fully fill the battery.
In camera we have a 108 MP sensor for good daytime photos, but night mode could be a little more efficient. There is an ultra-wide camera that helps in capturing wider scenes and the macro doesn’t always take good photos. The camcorder remains limited in Full HD, suffers a little when eliminating blur, has decent focus and sound capture.
