Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G: complete cell phone with several positive points | Analysis / Review

The Redmi Note 12 Pro passes through the TudoCelular stands in its version with 5G connectivity. Is Xiaomi’s most famous line among Brazilians still unbeatable in terms of cost-effectiveness? Let’s check this analysis.

The design has been updated and is in line with the brand’s most advanced line. The Redmi Note 12 Pro is still a cell phone with a plastic body, but it has a glass rear and has Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The flat design differs from the Pro Plus variant, as well as the available color options. It was more compact and lighter compared to the previous generation model, without having to reduce the screen or sacrifice battery.

The panel adopted by Xiaomi is quite complete with 6.67 inches with Full HD + resolution, 120 Hz refresh rate, strong brightness, support for HDR10 + and Dolby Vision, in addition to being able to reproduce more colors than rivals from Samsung and Motorola. The sound is powerful and has good quality with balanced bass, mids and highs.

The Redmi Note 12 Pro comes with the same chip as the most advanced model in the line, the Dimensity 1080 by MediaTek. The version we tested has 6 GB of RAM and there are options with up to 12 GB. Unfortunately, memory management needs improvement and the Chinese middleman struggles to hold apps open in the background. At least it did well in every game we tested.

The 5,000 mAh battery lasts all day well. The Redmi Note 12 Pro was among the best we tested and with light use it will be possible to have two days of battery life. The 67W charger that comes in the box takes 1 hour to fill the battery, which is a little disappointing as we’ve seen others with the same power take less time.

The photographic set consists of a 50 MP camera, an 8 MP ultra-wide camera and a 2 MP macro camera. The photographic quality is good and even at night it is still possible to have clear pictures with good colors. There’s efficient stabilization, snappy focus and the ability to shoot in 4K with the rear, while the front is limited to Full HD resolution.

The Redmi Note 12 Pro delivers a good set, but for the price that is found on the market, it is not the king of cost-effectiveness, as you can see in our full review at the link below:
