In an event held this Monday morning, Xiaomi finally presented the new Redmi K60 Ultra to the world. The smartphone hits the market with the mission of delivering great processing power combined with a highly competitive price.
In the field of design, the smartphone follows the standard identity of other Redmi cell phones by delivering a discreet camera module and intermediate construction to ensure cost-effectiveness. Still, the device is IP68 certified.
Its screen is a 6.67-inch OLED that has a resolution of 1.5K and supports a refresh rate of 144 Hz. The edges of the panel are thin and there is a small hole to accommodate the selfie camera.
Moving on to performance, the Redmi K60 Ultra was announced with the new MediaTek Dimensity 9200 Plus platform. The chipset is combined with up to 24 GB of RAM (with virtual expansion) and 1 TB of internal storage.
That is, settings that make the flagship reach 1,774,714 points in AnTuTu.
The smartphone also features a 5G connection, fingerprint reader, dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4 and 5 GHz), Bluetooth 5.3 and NFC for proximity payments.
To ensure good photos, the Redmi K60 Ultra has a 50 MP main camera that supports optical image stabilization (OIS). The secondary sensor is an 8 MP ultrawide and there is another 2 MP for portrait photos.
The manufacturer points out that the main sensor is capable of recording videos in resolution up to 8K.
On the other hand, the selfie camera is 16 MP.
Last but not least, the smartphone has a 5,000 mAh battery that supports fast charging up to 120W, while the operating system is Android 13 and it runs under MIUI 15.
